          We have purchased a beautiful golden retriever from Majestic Retrievers, Chris and Carole Rasmussen-Heckel. She has been a very wonderful dog.  From the day we choose her, she has bonded so very well with all our family members including the other pets and grandparents to cousins.  Carole and Chris were so accommodating when we were choosing a puppy.
They met us with a couple of puppies to choose from and gave us background on each behavior to help us choose. Since our adoption, they have always been there to answer any questions and give us advice on training and care of our golden. There are so many times we laugh because she is truly majesty, the Queen of the house, not just in our home of all males, including two male dogs, but when she poses, she looks so Majestic! We have been so very happy with our newest family
member, and we all would recommend adoption from Majestic Retrievers.

     Just wanted to send a note of thanks for everything!!!  We love Murphy, our new puppy! We want you to know that we would highly recommend your kennel to anyone looking for a Golden Retriever. We can not thank you enough for going out-of-your way in helping us fly Murphy from Wisconsin to Maryland, and making the experience a lot less stressful for both the puppy and for us.  He's a great dog-in every way-a big part of our family! We love him very much!! Working with your kennel has been such a pleasant experience, we consider you a new friend.  Besides being a part of our family, Murphy is on his way to becoming a top water fowler. He's retrieving everything we throw (he even tries to retrieve snowballs). He's attentive to geese, and steady to the gun, and at 8 months old, he's become a great swimmer. (If only we had as much energy as he does!) With continued training this Spring and Summer, we're really looking forward to the upcoming duck season!

     My wife Michelle and I have had four goldens over the space of twenty-three years. We obtained Buddy from Chris and Carol Heckel on 8/12/02. He was eight weeks old at the time. He is the healthiest of all the dogs we have had. At this point in time he is 9 and a half months old and must weigh at least 90 pounds. He is neutered and spends as much time in the house as outside. I will be training Buddy more extensively to hunt partridge in the fall. He seems to have excellent hips, wonderful temperament, quick to learn and has the keenest nose for wild game I have ever seen.  We could not have found a better golden. We had lost our last two dogs about a year and a half prior to looking for a puppy. Both my wife and I were impressed with the care and attention that the Heckel's give to the pups they are raising.
